Hillingdon Choral Society (HCS), established in 1980, is a registered charity (No. 1004362) comprising approximately 60 members who share a passion for singing and performing choral works for local audiences.
Under the direction of founding conductor Peter J. Williams, HCS presents a diverse repertoire across three annual concerts: classical pieces with Christmas carols in winter, sacred music during spring, and lighter selections such as opera choruses or musical theatre songs in summer.
The Society has performed works by composers ranging from Bach to Vivaldi and has celebrated key anniversaries at prestigious venues like Cadogan Hall and Southwark Cathedral. Beyond concerts, HCS engages in social events and has participated in international tours to countries including Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The Society also contributes to local charity events, enhancing community engagement through music.
